Honourable Macky 2, born Mulaza Kaira, opens up about his childhood on the Copperbelt and the pain of losing both his father and mother at a young age. Growing up without parents was not easy. He shares how life changed quickly and how he had to become strong while still young.

Macky 2 explains that the “village” played a big role in raising him. Family members, friends, and the community supported him, guided him, and helped shape his character. He says their advice, discipline, and love helped him grow into a focused and ambitious man.

He also reflects on his journey in music and leadership. Known as the man who popularized the word “Kopala,” he proudly put the Copperbelt on the map and made it famous beyond mining.
